The comb bound Showgard Desert Magic Drying Book uses a special release paper that has been shown to be ideal for stamp drying procedures. The Desert Magic system is truly novel and extremely effective. The special paper does not allow stamps to stick to its release surface and can be used over and over again without loss of function. All known stamp gums are rejected. The blotting paper has been selected for its high absorbency and tight weave. Stamp soaking and drying becomes more of a rewarding pastime than a messy chore.
